Murad Jung sworn as 192 Dhaka-19 Savar/Ashulia’s M.P from Bangladesh Parliament as a Member of Standing Committee on Ministry of Youth and Sports on December 29th, 2008. He earned victory by defeating Dr. Dewan Salahuddin Babu (Ex-BNP M.P of Savar) by acquiring 2,82,492 votes, the highest number of votes acquired by any candidate in the history of Bangladesh Parliament. On the  leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina M.P Murad Jung signed the constitution of Bangladesh on 2010 which was the beginning of his success.

From the inauguration day 2008 December 29th M.P Murad Jung took the responsibility of 192 Dhaka-19 Savar, Ashulia to bring perfection to the vicinity earlier than the imperative system of the BNP’s whom leaded the vicinity more than a decade.
